You could offer to pay for legal service, but the lawyer would be working for her and she would hire him or her. (I assume she's legally competent to manage her own affairs.) Your friend needs to be clear whether she will want ongoing advice as she asks for it, or just one-time advice on specific issues, or to turn over the whole estate for the lawyer to manage. If it's the third of those, she may be asked to pay a certain percentage of the estate. She should definitely discuss fees before engaging the lawyer. Ask around (and better, your friend should ask other widows). Word of mouth is the best recommendation for any kind of professional service. I am not a lawyer; this is not legal advice. Sometimes the best way to find a lawyer is to ask for recommendations from friends. So your mother might want to ask people she knows for recommendations. Many Teamsters are familiar with the struggle of these refinery workers against the Crown bosses, who insisted on gutting their seniority and replacing the union workers with temporary contract labor. Supporters of the socialist press in Houston have sold seven Militant subscriptions to Crown workers since the beginning of the sales drive -one right after the team campaigned at Laidlaw and visited the Crown picket line. Din partea unitatilor MEC a fost acceptata o singura propunere [5], alte doua 4. Care este principala cerinta a EC fata de activitatea CD in tarile candidate? Capitolul CD a fost inchis formal cu toate tarile in curs de aderare, dar in prezent acestora li se cere asigurarea infrastructurii necesare participarii in conditii competitive [6,7,8] la proiectele finantate de FP6. 5. Este asigurata infrastructura CD in Romania? Nu, desi o parte semnificativa a bugetului MEC - 88 milioane Euro - este alocata participarii la programul PC6. Asigurarea infrastructurii CD nu este insa realizata sub nici unul din aspectele (i) salarizarii personalului, deja la nivele ridicole si ilogice [9], asigurata de cele mai multe ori cu intarziere si partial, (ii) aparatura tehnica necesara realizarii unor proiecte FP6, si (iii) documentarea specifica similara (fiind evident imposibila chiar si numai realizarea 6. Exista o alternativa a MEC in sensul participarii la PC6 fara infrastructura? Nu, deoarece MEC nu accepta recunoasterea acestei situatii. Probabil ca, daca ar face-o, ar deveni clara lipsa de sens a tuturor actiunilor formale de instruire si adoptare a normelor EC/FP6 (de exemplu stagii de lucru de 1-3 luni la EC-Bruxelles, cu termenul de inscriere 14.02.2003), ale caror rezultate nu mai sunt de interes pe planul national lipsit de conditii reale de activitate CD la nivel european. 7. Exista o alta modalitate de sprijin intern a CD in Romania? Nu. In fapt sistemul dorit nou de finantare competitionala pe baza de proiecte CD s-a transformat intr-o noua problema datorita, in actualele conditii, in primul rand resurselor financiare sub-dimensionate. Atribuirea unor fonduri mult sub necesarul documentat prin proiect obliga cercetatorii sa depuna noi si noi proiecte, crescand volumul de documentatie (precum si costul evaluarii) la cote nebanuite pana acum. In acelasi timp autonomia directorului de proiect, deja sufocat de formularistica, a fost transferata de la distribuirea unor fonduri normale (preconizata) la stabirea nivelului de reducere a salariilor celor care participa la activitatea proiectului. Si tot directorii de proiect au devenit responsabili pentru neefectuarea incasarilor ca urmare a blocajelor
