Hi all, Anyway recently she received a letter from Nissan advising her that there was a recall for Nissan pulsars due to a fault or something - don't know the details. Because I have a Nissan pulsar I wanted to know if I was affected. So I went to Nissan's site and found nothing. Search google to find a number of news articles advising of a national recall on Nissan Pulsar Sedan and another Nissan car. I did however come across this link http://www.recalls.gov.au/recalls_last30days.cfm?rcl_type=3Drecalls_vehicle&psa_id=3D10191, which states: Date: 03/11/2003 Supplier: Nissan Motor Co (Australia Pty Ltd Category: Motor Vehicles Consumer action: Letters will be sent to all owners. For further information contact your authorised Nissan Dealer. Please note the recall will commence at the end of November. Nissan recommends owners drive vehicles with caution until rectified. Make: Nissan Model: Pulsar and X-Trail Consequences: Could cause the malfunction indicator warning light to come on, create a no start condition, cause reduced engine power, or cause the engine to stop running without warning during vehicle operation. However this doesn't say what models are affected. I have N16 from memory, am I affected. I tried e-mailing my local Nissan dealer but have not got a response despite having sent it over a week ago. I know it says Nissan will send a letter however I brought my car privately and am concerned I may not get one. Does anyone know what particular models are affected?
