    Hello Bob:

A few of my girlfriends are getting married this year and the next, and they are busy preparing for their respective celebrations. Seems like everyones getting hitched, and a lot of queries about wedding songs are up in the air. There was even a post on Pinoy Exchange asking about possible love songs either to be sung during the ceremony or to be put on a souvenir CD. Im gonna give my wedding songs away. These were the songs on the souvenir CD that we gave out during my first wedding. I played a major part in choosing and compiling this collection, so I think I have the privilege of giving it away. These songs are, to my opinion, not that cheesy yet captures the essence of the union between two people that happens on that day. I wont be using these anymore on my next (and definitely last) wedding, so anyone who wants to partake of these, enjoy! 1) Ill be (by Edwin McCain; the cool acoustic version) 2) Panunumpa (by Carol Banawa; this was also sung when I walked down the aisle, tops if you want to shed some tears early on) 3) For all of my life (by For Real) 4) I will be here (by Steven Curtis Chapman) 5) Power of two (by The Indigo Girls; still the acoustic version) 6) Grow old with you (by Adam Sandler; capture only the singing part, take out the narration by Billy Idol) 7) Close to you (the Cranberries version) 8) Someone to watch over me (by Ella Fitzgerald; Fantastic!) 9) The way you look tonight (the Tony Bennett version) 10) The look of love (the Diana Krall version) 11) She (by Elvis Costello) 12) What matters most (by Kenny Rankin) 13) Truly Madly Deeply (by Savage Garden) 14) When I met you (by Apo Hiking Society) 15) Nearness of you (Diana Krall version, i think) 16) Fallin (by Lauren Wood; from the Pretty Woman soundtrack) From what I remember, these were the songs sung during the wedding ceremony: 1) Ikaw (by Regine Velasquez) 2) The Promise (by Martin Nievera) 3) Tanging Yaman 4) You (by The Carpenters) P.S. On second thought, maybe I will use some of them again. Tee-hee!
